When and where do I pick up my UCard, once my submitted ID photo is approved?

Students attending a regular summer orientation session will receive their UCards as part of the New Student Orientation (NSO) check-out process at the end of their NSO sessions. Any cards that are not picked up at NSO check-out (because the student did not attend the session or had to leave before check-out) will be available for pick up at the UCard Office when the student returns to campus.

Students attending a winter orientation session or a summer online orientation session will pick up their UCards at the UCard Office.

The UCard Office is located in room 168 in the Whitmore Administration Building. Normal hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

What photo file types do you accept?

JPEG is recommended.

What happens if the photo I supply does not meet the requirements specified?

Your application for your UCard will be delayed. You will receive an email, to your UMass email address, indicating the reason why the photo is not acceptable. You will have to either re-upload another photo or visit the UCard Office, 168 Whitmore Administration Building,to have your card produced. Only three attempts are permitted to upload an appropriate photo, then you will be required to visit the UCard Office, 168 Whitmore Administration Building, to have your card produced.
